Kid Cudi - Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi

Hear This. I got a story to tell, and I want you read and share about it 😎
My first Encounter with Kid Cudi was Hamza. A huge Cudi fan from middle school. First song was Pursuit of Happiness and Long-standing favorite was Surfin' ft. Pharrell Williams. However, it was not until I ran into his project Man on the Moon III that I really began to pay attention to songs like: Tequila Shots, She Knows This, Another Day, Heaven on Earth, and Sad People to name a few. NGL I had She Knows This on repeat for weeks simply because I loved the way it starts.
Not 3 months later my Netflix shows me one of the coolest ideas for an album release I have heard or seen to date, Entergalactic. An animated series which adds visual art and story into the album. A masterfully well-done form of expression that I can't help but rave about. Shoot, I looked crazy with how much I loved and took to this idea. As a huge anime nerd and a lover of both good animation and compelling story through music. This project had me hooked!
I wanted to go from casual listener to knowing the story and depth behind the art form, So I chose to look into Mr. Rager. A story that is still being unfolded before me. My mind riddle with questions of who is this character what is his significance to the life of Kid Cudi? What is the story that Scott embeds into his art. Knowing nothing about his past but learning about his present and hearing his story out of order. I thought it would dope to record this journey and share it with my now audience of a few.
Following these questions led me to his Ted Talk back at his old school. Inspirational and refreshing are two words that come to mind. His demeanor, tone, and expression left a memorable impact to me.
I picked up his comic soon after and gave it a look. Invested into the world he is building upon which leads me to my current place in exploration. At Random I saw Scotty Pilgram vs The World on my Netflix recommended and thought why not, I remember seeing the name somewhere however never made the connection, so I watched it. Took me three days however, I enjoyed the visuals, the league of Ex's, and music. It's an Aesthetic.
It didn't register where I saw the name from until the fateful line during the final battle that it hit me, this is where the sample in she knows this comes from!
I played the song instantly. And in the most innocent way I geeked out. I just had to make sure and now here I am. Sharing my Story, my interaction with the music.
